Product Reviews: Spectrum 360 Sprinkler

Mr Retic Product Reviews

Product Review: Spectrum 360 sprinkler/ dribbler/ adjustable sprayer (whatever you want to call them…)

When I’m on site, clients often ask me,
“What sprinklers would you install in this garden bed?”

My answer usually depends on a few things – like where the garden bed is located and whether there are windows nearby. But most of the time, I recommend the same reliable setup:

  • PVC pipe to bring water up and into the garden bed
  • Poly pipe running through the length of the bed
  • And then… Spectrum 360 sprinklers placed near each plant

If the plants are small or tightly spaced, you can easily use one Spectrum 360 sprinkler between two plants. Simple, efficient, and adjustable.

Why I Trust Spectrum 360 Drippers

I’ve been using Spectrum 360 dribblers for years – not just as Mr Retic, but even back when I was flipping run-down houses and renting them out. I’ve used them at multiple properties, and they just keep doing the job!

What makes them a standout?

  • 🔄 Adjustable spray – From a gentle trickle to a decent fountain-style coverage
  • 📴 Can be turned off – Handy for vege patches when nothing’s planted
  • 🌱 Versatile – Perfect around ground cover, ornamentals, or veggie beds
  • 💧 Water where it counts – Delivers moisture straight to the root zone

When they’re installed correctly, Spectrum 360’s are reliable and adaptable for just about any garden layout.

What About Micro Sprays?

Sure, micro sprays are cheaper – but you lose control. They tend to create a fine mist that can drift onto windows, paths, or surrounding areas. With our suburbs being rather windy, fine sprayers are not ideal. And unlike Spectrum 360 drippers, you can’t dial them in to suit different plants or seasons. We have also done a product review of Micro Sprays, that you can read on our blog.

So if you want precise, flexible watering that suits Perth’s weather conditions, Spectrum 360 adjustable sprayers are well worth the slightly higher investment.

TL;DR: Are Spectrum 360 Drippers Worth It?

Absolutely.
They’re adjustable, reliable, and versatile – perfect for WA gardens. Whether you’re planting ornamentals, veggies, or ground covers, Spectrum 360 sprinklers give you the control and coverage you need without waste or overspray.
