We have had a few questions about why we charge a call out fee / what does it cover.
A call out fee is standard in the trade industry, but it covers much more than just the drive to your address… keep reading for a detailed explanation on what it covers.
Our call out fee includes;
– our admin time to liaise with our customers to find a time to book the job in
– fuel and vehicle maintenance as well as travel time to attend site
– consumables that are used on site that are not charged individually to our clients – eg, priming fluid, glue & tape
– insurance costs to allow us to attend client sites and do service work
– membership fees to Irrigation Australia and the Water Corp so you know you are getting work done by an experienced Waterwise irrigator with all the correct training and insurances.
AND
– the first 15 minutes of time on site
Once the 15 minutes has been used on site, we then charge in 15 minute blocks plus any parts used on site.
